Y’all, I got to meet Ree Drummond! As in The Pioneer Woman!
When I read that Ree had a new cookbook coming out I immediately searched to see if she would be in my area. I knew I had to met her and get a cookbook signed. I realized that you too might love Pioneer Woman so I got an extra book signed that I’m giving away. The Pioneer Woman Cooks: A Year of Holidays is full of recipes to help you celebrate 12 different holidays. Staying true to form, this book is filled with gorgeous pictures and hilarious commentary. Sitting down to read it will make you want to cook!
If you’ve followed the blog long at all, you know that I just adore Ree and her recipes. I’ve made her sour cream pancakes, lemonade, frito pie and my all time favorite, steak fingers. The list could go on and on! Suffice it to say that I love Pioneer Woman recipes. I’ve cooked my way through her 2 previous books and I’ve yet to make one of her recipes that my family didn’t enjoy. Ree creates crowd pleasing food that’s easy to make in your own kitchen. If you’ve never tried them before, you are going to love her recipes!

My family will say the marshmallow sweet potatoes. But I love the tart cranberry sauce!
I want this so bad! My favorite holiday dishes are stuffing and cheesy hash brown casserole!
PS- I love the creepy man picture in the background. My husband would probably correct me and tell me its the Hobbit, but I still think they are creepy looking.
It’s pretty difficult to pick a favorite holiday dish, but I would have to go with stuffing, too! And I agree with you, Clare, those guys are staring at us wayyyyy too intently.
German potato salad. My family only makes it for special occasions and it’s one of my absolute favorite dishes. That and stuffing on Thanksgiving :).
My mama’s cornbread dressing – I won’t eat any other dressing!
My mom’s dressing! Nothing better! So exciting about meeting Ree Drummond! Would love a signed copy of her cookbook.
Pioneer Woman is awesome! Broccoli Cheese Rice is my favorite holiday dish, and very fond of dressing!
How exciting that you got to meet her!! If I just had to pick one holiday dish I guess I’d say, cheesy potato casserole! 🙂
I went to her very first signing of her first cookbook and served the wine! She lives in the town that I grew up in and I happened to be there visiting a friend. I would love to win her latest book!
I just made her Chicken Noodle Soup tonight! My hubby said it was the best he had ever had!!!!
My mom makes a giblet gravy that I request every year. It takes almost as long to make as everything else at Thanksgiving but it is SO worth it!
My favorite holiday dish would have to be apple pie!
They arent giving out anymore line tickets and I would have to drive to Ohio to meet her and have signed book. I love cooking and watching her cook. I would be so happy to have book.
Homemade stuffing/can’t live without Mom’s stuffing for Thanksgiving!!!
