I don’t know about you but right now life seems crazy! All our activities are in full swing and we are back to being busy. I enjoyed the lazy days of summer but I like being back on a schedule.
While I appreciate the structure, my cooking has been suffering. We’ve been eating quick and easy recipes that don’t require much time or creativity. Although we’ve been enjoying some good food, it’s nothing fancy or incredibly interesting.
The reality is sometimes the simplest recipes can be the most delicious. I’m a little embarrassed to call this a recipe, but it’s a favorite treat in my recipe arsenal. These Peanut Butter Cookies with Reese’s Cups are a youth group favorite! I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve made these cookies and every time I make them everyone raves.
To say that these cookies are easy to make is an understatement. You can make homemade cookie dough but I usually use store bought dough. I love these Betty Crocker mixes or you could also use refrigerated cookie dough. After pulling the cookies from the oven, simply press a Reese’s Cup into each cookie. Pure perfection!
